In this lecture, Dr. Derk discusses the benefits of topical oxygen therapy in wound care. He reviews the principles behind the need for oxygen in wound healing, along with the impediments to delivery to tissues. Finally, he compares the use of hyperbaric oxygen to topical oxygen delivery systems.
