Recent news articles have focused on the trend of decreasing physician satisfaction. For example, in August, the Wall Street Journal posted a report entitled Why Doctors Are Sick of Their Profession.1 Very puny, I know. But this actually gets to a serious problem for medicine as a whole. There are many reasons why physician satisfaction may be going down, but the bottom line is a significant potential for worsening patient outcomes.
It has been quite some time since this ezine has done a reader survey, so this seems like just the right time. Click on the link below for our reader poll.
