Conference Co-Chairs were Adrienne Estes, DPM, MS, FACFAS, DABPM and Jonathan Labovitz, DPM, FACFAS, CHCQM. The education was provided by some of our national top key opinion leaders from leading teaching institutions around the country. The education focused on evidence-based and best practices for utilizing the latest surgical procedures, advanced wound care technologies, vascular interventions, as well as dermatology of the lower limb, biomechanics, biologic therapies, off-loading, and compression therapy techniques.

The Live In-Person Desert Foot Multi-Disciplinary Limb Salvage and Wound Care Conference returns to Phoenix, Arizona at the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown, December 9 - 12, 2026. The renowned lecture program will be taught by some of the finest teachers in podiatry and will be focused on evidence-based, best practices to improve limb salvage techniques, advanced wound care skills, and treat surgical and medical disorders of the lower limb. The conference provides a great opportunity for you to learn along with a large part of the federal service wound care and surgical community, as well as hundreds of healthcare professionals in acute care, home care, and the private sector. The conference brings together five groups involved with limb salvage preservation of the lower extremity, from healthcare clinicians in the private sector, the Veterans Administration, VA Podiatric Residency Directors, United Wound Healing, and the Department of Defense from across the country.

The Live In-Person Desert Foot East Conference returned to Teaneck, New Jersey at the Teaneck Marriott at Glenpointe. The lecture program was taught by some of the finest teachers in podiatry and focused on evidence-based, best practices to improve limb salvage techniques, advanced wound care skills, and treat surgical and medical disorders of the lower limb. The conference provided a great opportunity to learn along with a large part of the federal service wound care and surgical community, as well as professionals in acute care, home care, and the private sector. The most unique part of the conference was the rotating interactive hands-on workshops, that focused on advanced technologies that provided attendees with hands-on practical experience and training on surgical procedures, advanced wound care, and new techniques in healing the lower extremity. This important annual conference was approved for 12 CE/CME/CECH for all podiatric surgeons, surgical residents, MDs, DOs, NPs, PAs, and WOCNs, and 2 ABPM MOC Points.
